Short Story
Great mystery surrounds the birth of Mr. Whitley - except that he was born on March 28th, 1912, nothing further is definite. He maintains that a careless probationary nurse mixed the name tags on a group of babies, and that he is, in fact, A. Bertram Chandler, another noted writer. Mr Chandler strongly denies this at all times. As they are both officers on the same shipping lines, considerable confusion arises. Most of Mr. Whitley's short stories have appeared in Australia and America, but his excursions into the literary are all too rare.
